Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations on Quantum Graphs

One-dimensional metric graphs play an important role in emerging areas of modern science such as nano-technology, quantum physics, and biological networks as models for two and three-dimensional thin structures. On the mathematical side, important contributions have been made in the recent years on nonlinear quantum graphs, which are models featuring a nonlinear Schrödinger equation set on a metric graphs. We mention in particular the analysis of standing waves solutions in various con gurations, as well as the development of numerical methods for the simulation of the nonlinear evolution. The goal of this minisymposium will be to make a review of the recent progresses and future perspectives on the topic.
