In the mathematical analysis of fluid flow, the propagation of waves of various types plays a central role in understanding well-posedness, hydrodynamic stability, the long-time behavior of solutions and the occurrence of weak turbulence.
The mini-symposium will focus on recent progress in dynamical aspects of Hamiltonian dispersive fluids, for instance on models for geophysical or charged fluids such as the Boussinesq and Euler-Maxwell equations.
