The design and implementation of efficient numerical schemes for transient wave phenomena is crucial for a wide range of applications and remains to this day an active research area. This minisymposium will gather experts on the formulation, the analysis and high performance implementation of discretization techniques for PDE models relevant to wave propagation. Such techniques include, among others, finite element and discontinuous Galerkin methods, time-stepping schemes and space-time methods.
